I just saw this album art for WAVVES new song/single "TV Luv Song." I don't really care abt his music because it all sounds the same and when Bethany dumps him, interest in his career will go down ~80%, but you can't help but notice this 'horrible/racist' album art that showcases a portrait of TV's Carl Winslow.

Carl Winslow was a lovable TV dad from the hit show 'Family Matters.' He seemed chill, just a hard working 'new money' African American, trying to raise his family 'right' in the modern white American society world.

Really feel like his family woulda been better if he 'ditched' Urkel.

Anyways, seems kinda unchill for WAVVES to change the colour of his skin bc he hates black ppl. This is easily one of the worst album art covers of the year, joining the Vivian Girls in the race for the 2k11 worst album art of the year award.

In this photograph, we see the CEO of America (Barrack Obama) and the CEO of Facebook (Mark Zuckerberg) meeting at the White House. I'm not sure what they had to talk abt. Maybe Obama needed some 'tech support' learning about privacy controls or how to tag his bros in photos. Maybe Zuckerbro has some ideas for a new age democracy where every1 just votes on issues utilizing facebook, and we don't need Congress any more, and Zuckerbro can just ride dictator waves/rig some votes.

I dunno bro... I know I only care abt alt fame, relevancy, and the perks of being buzzworthy... but I woulda stayed in Neon Indian, continuing to feast on the on-the-go pussie that is available to most members of buzzbands.

It seems like the writer 'had an agenda', trying 2 make it seem like Neon Indian is 'totally screwed' without their guitarist.

Neon Indian, for all intents and purposes, has always been an Alan Palomo-helmed project -- at least in the studio. In live settings, however, Palomo's always relied on some help.

Turns out, though, that he's lost a big part of his backing team this week. Neon Indian's flashy guitar player, Ronnie Gierhart, whose muscly licks have gone a long way toward propelling that band's live show, tells DC9 that he has formally left the band, having returned home to Dallas-Fort Worth, both to finish college and to start work on his own musical project.

"I guess I wanted to pursue a little bit of my own passion," says Gierhart, who confirms that his departure from Neon Indian comes just as Palomo has started working on that band's newest crop of material. Here is a new music video for some Radiohead song called "Lotus Flower" off their new album "The King of Chopping off Limbs." It really sounds like any other radiohead song. Abstract rock n roll, 'deep' percussion, 'guitars coming from altered zones', Thom's voice whining like a sad lil man who wants more out of life. Not sure if we can say that Radiohead has 'evolved' as a band, but maybe their formula is just 'perfect' like Coca Cola, so they don't really have 2 innovate any more.

Anyways, it seems like Thom really 'wants the spotlight' in this video. He dances around alone, probably trying to prove that he did the most work on this album.

Not sure if I really vibe to the new slutwave Thom. It sorta reminds me of 'accidentally going gay' for 1 night or something, and you end up getting a really dark handjob. Just really negative unchill vibes for me, due to the Radiohead aesthetic + Thom.

After the Grammys, Rosie O'Donnell made the ultimate lamestreamer mistake by tweeting, "Who the eff are the Arcade Fire?" Every1 on the internet made fun of her because every1 on the internet is very familiar with indie music [link]. Anyways, it seems like Rosie O'Donnell finally 'spoke out' on what it was like to be cyberbullied by a bunch of indie ppl on the mainstream television show Extra.

A newbie to social media site Twitter, Rosie announced she'd never heard of recent Grammy winner Arcade Fire. "And then the Arcade Fire fans went insane! [Fans tweeted] 'Who do you think you are? You're fat! You're old! You're irrelevant!'"

Here is what Rosie said. It is at 3:20 of that video. U have to sit thru a bunch of boring crap abt her career + mooching off Oprah's retirement to jumpstart her career.

I made a huge error apparently during the Grammys when I had the audacity to say "Album of the year- Arcade Fire? Um. Never heard of them." Not so horrible. But just a fact. I had never heard of them. It's not like I had heard of them but didn't know their music. I had never heard those 2 words together. Arcade. Fire. No idea.

So I wrote that, then the Arcade Fire fans went insane.

Who do you think you are? You're fat! You're old. You're irrelevant. I can't believe you did that! I'm like I didn't say they suck, I just hadn't heard them.

Now I have downloaded all of their records. All of their CDs. And they are enjoyable...

Since the movie industry no longer has money 2 waste on young digital filmmakers unless ur name is Andy Sandberg, tons of viral video bros are forced to upload their videos to the internet, and hope that they make some thing that 'goes viral' and gives them attention.

These bros seemed 2 try to capitalize off the whole "Lamestreamers not know who the Arcade Fire is" meme and made some viral video about it. Not sure if they really did a good job, but at least it was 'topical', maybe. I wonder if 10 years from now, ppl will remember when the Arcade Fire won, or if this is all just some forgettable viral meme. These dudes just tried 2 be funnie then beat eachother up except there was just 'fake violence.' Nothing graphic or shocking. Kinda disappointing.

Are these dudes 'funnie'?
Did they 'crush it' with the unique concept, great acting, and amazing cinematography?
Or are they just another case of dudes who wasted their money on a digital camera just 2 upload it 2 youtube and never get paid for it/get recognized for it?
