Sorta weird how we spend so much time thinking abt how albums sound on the inside, but we don't really think abt how their album art impacts our visual representation of the album. So much pressure to write something 'brilliant' on the inside, but so many album covers 'effing suck.' It seems like Pitchfork named 'the worst album covers of 2k10' and MGMT, M.I.A. and the Kings of Leon were probs the 'most famous' bands on the list.

MIA's youtube loading bar gimmick 'totally failed' this year. No1 really liked her music, her art, her concepts, her memes, or her as a human being. Really bad 2k10 for her.

MGMT's CONGRATULATIONS album art seems to have 'flopped' just as hard as the album. Not sure if this is 'bad album art' or if Pitchfork is just mad because they didn't write songs that were as catchy as KIDS, ELECTRIC EELS, or TIME2PRETEND.

They went ahead and 'panned' Elliott Smith. Seems kinda unchill.

Not sure what is wrong with the Kings of Leon's chillwave album cover.

Really feel sad abt the indie content in the blogosphere in December. Feels like there is 'nothing' relevant/exciting 2 blog abt. Stuck blogging abt Daft Punk's new video from the TRON movie. Really 'does nothing' 4 me.

Feeling kinda 'ovr' indie. Daft Punk rlly let every1 down. Can't believe they just made 1 of those music videos where they just 'show movie clips.' TRON seems like a huge disaster. Can't believe Daft Punk has fallen so hard/far.
Don't feel like this is 'cool' at all. Maybe I am just too lofi/chillwave for robot gimmicks any more.

Justin Bieber spotted canoodling with a girl who has progeria

From what I understand, progeria is some sort of disease that makes u all small and old, even though u r young and should be healthy. Not sure why Justin Bieber was 'spotted canoodling' with a progeria kid. Honestly know that progeria is some sort of genetic disorder, but rlly get kinda creeped out when I see progeria kids.

Progeria is a disease that produces rapid aging, beginning in childhood.

Causes
Progeria is a rare condition that is remarkable because its symptoms strongly resemble normal human aging, but occur in young children.

Ninety percent of children with progeria have a mutation on the gene that encodes the protein lamin A. Progeria usually occurs without cause. It is only very rarely seen in more than one child in a family.

Best Coast releases song with indie 1-hit wonder The Go! Team

Only rlly posting this bc it is a 'slow day' and I might as well blog abt Best Coast. It seems like she will 'collab' with any1. That 1 time for Converse. That 1 time for Weezer. Maybe she gets 'mad bank' for collabing, or maybe she can just write mediocre songs with other ppl very easily so it is a 'rewarding process' artistically.

She wrote some song with the formerly relevant 1 hit indie wonder band THE GO! Team. Really doesn't do anything 4 me.

Anyways, remember when the Go Team had that song "HUDDLE FORMATION" and every1 was like "this song is so awesome! let's use it in commercials yall" then every1 was like "Do yall have another song?" but they didn't and now no1 really cares abt them.

Sorta might be a bad decision for Best Coast 2 lend her brand to the go! team. U can't just help the competition, especially when it is a band that "kinda sux."
