Just watched this video of 2 entry level alt QTs vlogging. Seems like they have some personal vlogging channel where they open up about dark secrets, desires, and dreams. Really <3 them for getting so vulnerable with the internet. Might send them a myspace message or hit them up with an @ [via tweetspace].

In this edition of their vlog, they talk about how they <3 boys. Wish I could connect with 1 of them. Feel like I am their ideal bro. One of them talks about what they are looking for in 'boys', while an even more chill alt QT talks about what they want in their ideal 'bro.' Feel like I really vibe out to her since she calls men/boys = 'bros.'

was recently showcased
in a high-end gallery
by an artist

Many critics questioned
the inclusion of my son
embedded in a high end ergonomic stroller
(which is also convertible into a child’s car seat)

However, they don’t realize that parenting is
life is
Creating a child is ‘branding’
I was put on this Earth by God
2 direct his ‘social’ and ‘physical’ evolution

When u feed a child
u r ‘graphic designing’ his body type

When a child grows
u r ‘architecting’ his body into a beautiful, portable, green space

When you go to the BABY GAP
u r painting a beautiful portrait on his body

when u take a picture of ur child with ur iPhone
ur photoshopping his life, putting together a life stream of meaningful flickr events for him

when u gloat about how smart ur child is
ur updating their status on facebook, letting ppl know how bad ass they are.

when a child eats
they are ‘consuming’ [via consumerism]

When a child poops
they are creating beautiful out of their poo hole
Beautiful logs
that represent clay
which can be molded in2 anything under the sun

As a child grows
sprouts pubic hair

the installation has truly manifested itself

U will one day die

Youtube journalist interviews a bunch of rural goths after a Crystal Castles concert

I wonder what it is like to be a touring indie band. U basically have to try to hit up a series of relevant cities spread out across the USA, but in between, u have to decide which ‘rural shit holes’ to stop in. Gonna be kinda ‘hit or miss’ depending on whether or not ppl in these cities ‘actually read blogs.’

Just watched some youtube journalist interview a bunch of ‘CC fans’ after their show in Nashville Tennessee. Didn’t really know there was an indie core 8bit scene over there, but seems like all of these ‘goth alts’ really loved ‘the live energy’ of the show. Not really sure about Nashville’s Music Scene, but think they prefer ‘honky ass’ rock n roll or something.

Not sure how to feel about the rural interpretation of
Feel happy to live in a relevant cultural mecca, so I can attend relevant events and not ‘shit my pants’ with excitement over them. Feel like these people will never gain ‘ status’ at a relevant alt event, so being able to touch Alice Glass’ vagina as she crowd surfs is probably the highlight of their alternative existences.

Feeling relieved I don’t live in a ‘backwards alt’ region of Middle America where they interpret ‘going 2 Hot Topic at ur local mall’ as the spirit of authentic alticism.

Do all ‘rural alts’ accidentally implement a ‘goth’ / ‘raver’ personal brand?
