I have been searching for the perfect alternative breasts for the past several years. Wondering what size would be perfect in an alternative kind of way, and what body type would be the perfect frame for alt breasts. But part of me wonders ‘what I would do’ if I finally had a pair of them in my mouth/hands. Would I be able to ‘perform’ sexually? Just feel scared that once ‘game day rolled around’, I wouldn’t really have a game plan. Feeling like an electro era altbro the first time he convinced an entrylevel headband-wearing kute lil slut to ‘go home with him’ for the first time.
Part of me wonders if breasts are called ‘fun bags’ because you are supposed to take out your stress on them. Not sure if abusing women is still ‘chill’ in the post-Chris Brown world, but it seems like this pair of breasts ‘really took a beating.’ Bruises can help your alternative brand, because it makes you seem more intriguing as an alternative female. U sorta want 2 ‘get 2 know’ about the troubled soul behind these breasts, and reverse-nurse/caress her back 2 health [via ice pack].
Wonder if the collarbone broke or anything more severe happened to bruise these sweet ‘bags of love.’ Possibly something both emotionally and physically scarring. Maybe something alt, like ’she was in an Aoki+Pashy Pit moshpit full of rabid 16 year olds.’ Could even be something mainstream like ‘her family just went on vacay to Aspen and she fell a lot during ski lessons.’

Maybe breasts are just a sweet surface from which to inhale lines of cocaine. I am not sure if the ternative era is going to be about tits, ass, or blow. It might be about the popular alternative drug meow meow. Ultimately feeling lost in the ternative era. Floating around aimlessly in the blogosphere as tons of indie memes and newsbits fly every where.

Bradford Cox of the hit bands ‘Atlas Sound’ and ‘The Deerhunter, alone in the forest’ played what seems to be an acoustic set. In order to move away from the traditional ‘acoustic guitar bro’ vibe, you can see that he utilized a ’sick pedal board’, loaded with tons of crazy effects.

Jay-Z apparently sampled Justice’s hit blog house anthem “D.A.N.C.E.” in his hit song "On To The Next One.” Wonder if Justice is still going to be alternatively relevant in 2k10, or if they will just start to produce mainstream rap hip hop hits.

Do u think ’sampling’ is authentic when rappers do it? Is ’sampling’ better when indie/alt/ternative/chillwave artists utilize it? Will Justice make more money by producing a 3 second sample, or by writing a full album?
This blog post talks about the current climate of ‘indie film making.’ Apparently, since Avatar made so much money, it seems like generating mainstream mega hits is a better business model for studios than investing a lil bit of money in an indie film, and hoping it goes’ critically viral’ [via Oscar nomination].
If you are a producer of indie movies, the great sucking sound you may be hearing is Avatar draining money from your future projects. While this brilliant Pocahantas-meets-Jurassic Park mashup may be a bonanza for Rupert Murdoch’s 20th Century Fox studio, which gets a distribution fee on every dollar it brings in from theaters, video stores, and TV, and its producer-director James Cameron, who gets a cut of the gross after it reached its Hollywood-defined $500 million cash break even point, it will further convince the heads of the major studios that their salvation lies in putting their money in “high value” movies laden with mesmerizing visual effects that can be simultaneously opened on more than 5,000 screens around the world and lend themselves to sequels, merchandise tie-ins, toy licensing, and theme parks rides.
Guess the era of ‘indie movies financed by studios is over.’
If so how can Indie producers continue to make movies? They might be able to find wealthy individuals entranced enough with a movie fantasy to put up the money, but they still need to devise a new way in this digital age to distribute them to an audience willing to see something more than the movie versions of amusement park rides.
Do u think this means ‘indie films’ are dead, or will this just mean ‘real indie films’ will be made, instead of mindie films? What advice would u give to a young indie filmmaker?
