Honestly feel like we need to take a deep breath, and watch this band ‘evolve’ into the next Kings of Leon/Strokes/U2/Coldplays/etc. Sort of like how ppl watch films abt nature and think it is ‘beautiful.’ We just need 2 stand back, and watch ‘the evolution’ of a band, not worrying abt the death of __________ (negative vibe), but instead choosing 2 celebrate the life of _______(positive vibe). Maybe this is the spirit of 2k10. Gonna be watching so many former indie bands take ‘the leap.’ They are more than just ‘a nice lil blog mp3′ now. These bands are beginning 2 ‘mean something’ 2 ppl who u don’t rlly respect. Feel like Vampy Weekend’s album sales will ’shit on’ all of the most relevant bands of 2k9. We must ride this consumerwave. We must trust in the numbers. The greatest good music for the greatest amount of ppl. 2k10 might be all about ‘utilitarianism.’ Wonder which Vampy Weekend fan is the most authentic? Really feeling the Vampy Weekend catch on with a lot of ppl who aren’t even ‘in the alt bloggy scene.’ #Vampyfever is so strong right now, stronger than #Anco_fever and #Grizzbear fever from last year. Really feel like Vampy Weeks What is ur pitchfork review of ‘the new Vampy Weekend album’? Seems like a ‘controversial’ topic, sorta like racism + class issues in america. 4 bros // 1 band |
