Some seats at Indianapolis Colts' new stadium are behind pillars

Hard to believe photo here. Via.

I used to work at what was then called the Universal Amphitheatre as a customer service rep. Some acts used to set up large projectors or other equipment right in the middle of the room. I had the lousy job of telling customers who had bought prime center seats that they could either deal with the obstruction, move to seats at the far corners of the Amphitheatre, or get refunds. Good times.

Nike "Air Stab"

Sounds like a joke, but it's really the name of Nike sneakers. Nike's stopped selling them in light of some recent stabbings in London, but there's quite a few available at eBay.

Bioshock t-shirt design contest

Posted: 17 Jul 2008 09:29 PM CDT

From my email:
BioShock is coming to the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system in October of this year, and to celebrate, we are revitalizing the Cult of Rapture and designing a new official shirt for devoted Rapturians. You are invited to put your artistic talent to the test to try and make the best new design to represent the world of Rapture.

You will be designing the back of a T-Shirt, and the winner will be selected by a panel of 2K judges based on originality of design and how well the image represents BioShock, Rapture, and the Cult. Feel free to use any images from the world of Rapture, but please don't take directly from in-game assets and make sure your designs are original!

We will be accepting submissions starting today until July 25th to BioShockContest@2KGames.com with the subject line "Cult of Rapture T-Shirt Design Contest." Please include your full name, date of birth, and email address with the design. After all submissions have been collected and judged, the grand prize winner and three runner-ups will be announced by the end of July. So put on your best Rapture party mask and start thinking of awesome designs!

GRAND PRIZE: Winning design displayed on the Cult and shirts made for devoted members, two exclusive BioShock figurines, 10 of the winning shirts (you choose sizes), a BioShock artbook, and a limited edition BioShock poster signed by 2K Marin

THREE RUNNER-UPS: Designs made into wallpapers and downloadable on the Cult of Rapture, a winning shirt in the size of your choice, a BioShock artbook.

Sound good? Awesome! Let's create the next iconic shirt for the Cult of Rapture.

"Most targets are 'vulnerable' in that it is not very difficult to damage them, but invulnerable in that they can be rebuilt in fairly short order and at tolerable expense."
